"It's Midnight" Meera smirked
"So?" Saif said teasingly
"Okay fine you're gonna be like that look my phone is ringing let me pick it up my friends wanna wish me a happy birthday before you do"
Her blackberry torch was really ringing and she was just about to click the answer button when Saif snatched the phone and slid it across the sand.
He pushed her back and lay almost on top on her then slammed his lips against her mouth. She tilted her head to the side so that their mouths locked together. Saif pushed his tongue inside her mouth and she gasped in shock at his new move. But seconds later her tongue was twirling against his too. When they parted a few minutes later they were both breathless.
"Happy birthday Meerooh" he said between gasps.
Meera smiled and ran her fingers through his hair. "I love you"
Then she pulled him back for another kiss.

"Reem it's been half an hour what the hell are you doing in there?" A7mad called. 7amood was deeply asleep and when A7mad didn't get a reply from his sister he left the room.
"Uh thank god he left" Reem whispered into the phone
S3eed laughed. "Your younger brother and you're scared of him haha!"
"Shut up! You're a guy and you just hung up on me when you're mom walked by are you sure you're 27?" she asked with a laugh
"Well how about you come over to my place again tomorrow and I'll show you my birth certificate?"
Reem laughed. "Just send a pic and I'll be satisfied"
"I can satisfy you in other ways if you'd come over"
Reem froze. Her heart starting banging inside her as though about to explode.
"Reem I know you don't want to talk about this but you and I have been together for over a year now. I love you and you love me and we're both not ready for marriage. We've been meeting up and talking on the phone all the time. It's just one more step"
Reem didn't reply for a long minute. Her first time with 5alid in their wedding night rolled before her eyes like a movie.
When Reem was only fifteen her parents have been talking about how she and 5alid were going to get together after she graduates.
It's been set all through her life that it was 5alid. She never got to choose, she never got to love. They never talked on the phone or saw each other from time to time, it was never a normal teenage relationship.
As a sense of devotion Reem didn't ever try to have a crush on any guy in high school or have feelings for someone in university. It was always just 5alid.
She wasn't disappointed when they got married. 5alid was a gentle men with good looks and a soft heart. But she never lived the role of Juliet around him.
S3eed on the other hand was funny and naughty , he made her re-live that teenage fairytale she never got. To her defence at least for once she wasn't following a schedule or plan, she was breaking rules. And she loved it.
"I need time to think" she whispered.
"Does that mean you're considering it?" S3eed exclaimed and it doesn't need a genius to figure out that he had an ear to ear grin across his face.
"Don't be too pumped up about it. Sa3oody I need to go now okay?"
"Yeah sure 7ayati. Just give me my goodnight kiss"
"MWAAAAA7! On your lips baby"
"Aaah fdaaiatch. Reem?"
"3yoonha"
"I love you"
"I know" she teased
"Say it"
"I love you s3eed. More than I can ever explain"

"Okay everything is set except the birthday girl" a7mad's mother announced.
"I'm calling her now" Meera's mom responded
A7mad sighed and leaded back in his chair. His heart was thumping excitedly in his chest. Meera was finally gonna understand the fire that's burning him inside. The indescribable love he has always had for her. His thoughts were disrupted by fa6oom's sudden approach.
A7mad never minded fa6oom, she was their neighbour ever since they were kids and had grown with them like family. All until last summer when a7mad went into his room after uni and found her waiting for him. At first she was saying that she wasn't feeling okay and before a7mad could realise it they were lying in bed panting after he had lost his virginity to her.
Ever since then he has tried to avoid her entirely.
"Hey a7mad" she said and sat beside him.
"I just hi you're not gonna answer that too? How long are you planning to ignore me? My stomach's gonna grow and people are gonna ask questions"
"Wait what?!" A7amd shouted standing up.
Fa6oom burst out laughing. "I knew that was gonna get you talking. I'm such a smart ass haha. If you only saw your face haha"
"Are you ..?"
"No I'm not pregnant, plus it's been like two months already it would show if I was".
"I don't wanna even think about it".
"Don't worry next time I will get a condom" she said in a way she was hoping was seductive then she got up and walked away.
A7mad sighed with disgust then sat back down.

Saif parked his car in front of Meera's house. She was sitting in the passenger's seat and turned to face him.
"Thank you so much Sawaf, I really had an amazing time"
"Wait. Did you really think I didn't get my baby girl a gift?" he bent down and fiddled through the messy stuff he had all around his car and took out a bag with a black box inside. The word Chanel was carved on top.
Meera gasped as she quickly opened the box to see a gorgeous white watch with light pink diamonds around the sides and golden shapes beneath the the ticking hands of time.
"It's beautiful! Oh Sawaf thank you so so much I love it"
He smiled "I'm glad"
She threw the watch back into the box and leant forward delicately kissing him on the lips.
She leaned back with a smile.
"I'm not done" Saif said leaning in for more.
"Later I promise. I need to go now. I'm already late"
"Okay baby. See ya!"
He watched her pounce out of the car and skip towards the door before he smiled victoriously and drove off.

"SURPRISE!!" Everyone screamed suddenly and Meera jumped at the unexpected crowd singing to her.
She can see her dad snapping quick photo's of her priceless jaw dropped face. Her mom and om a7mad were standing on one side clapping and singing in that Arabic accent that made it seem like are eighty r's in the word birthday.
Reem and fa6oom were standing bellow the banner with pretty grins across their faces.
A7mad charged towards her just as the song ended and threw her into his arms absorbing the soft scent of her hair.
"Happy birthday Meerooh" he said and stared into her gorgeous brown eyes for a moment before fa6oom jumped and squeezed them both in a group hug.
She had obviously just token that opportunity to throw her self at a7mad and he got the hint immediately and squirmed away.
The cake and drinks were swallowed away in a matter of minutes and the family just lay back and had a good time. It was around 2:30 am when the parents got tiered and decided to go to bed.
Om a7mad, Reem and baby 7amoody left home. Their house was a two minute drive. Fa6oom also left, her house was only a two minute walk. A7mad as usual was gonna stay the night at Meera's place. She and he have been sharing a room together ever since, only a few months ago his mother said she wasn't gonna allow him to stay over at his Uncle's unless he sleeps in the guest room.
A7mad was helping Meera take all her un wrapped gifts up to her room.
"I can't believe you got me an iPad I mean how did you know I wanted one? Is it 3G? Oh this is so exciting. Thank you so much"
A7mad smile. "I always know what you want"
As usual she didn't understand he was hitting on her. To Meera, a7mad is just like a really close brother, a best friend. Nothing more.
"I need to shower" she said and pounced into the bathroom.
A7mad lay back thoughtfully for the next half hour until she came out looking breath-taking. She was wearing a light pyjama shirt with Snoopy on it that reached to about her knees. Underneath she wore matching pink shorts only inches bellow her waist. Her wet brown hair was spread out in messy way on her shoulders.
"What?" she asked noticing him stare at her.
"I got you something" he said and pulled out the red box from his pockets.
"What's that?"
"Another birthday gift"
"But.."
"I know. I just had to get you this uh here"
He opened the box and pulled out a long chain necklace with a big red heart dangling at the end. It was a pendant and the heart would open and he had carved the word he has always longed to tell her inside.
He pulled her hair to one side and placed the chain around her neck.
"Its gorgeous" she exclaimed
A7mad smiled and she threw herself into his arms. He sighed when she loosened the hug. If it was up to him he'd never let go.
"Open it" he said
"Open what?" she had a confused expression on her face
A7mad hated that feeling that suddenly came to him. Telling Meera of how he felt for her was all he ever thought about since he was 15. But why did he have that ridiculous feeling that it wasn't the time? That this secret had to remain untold for a longer while.
"Nothing" and he regretted saying it immediately. It had to wait. He never knew why but some times instinct was better to follow.
